Elf on the Shelf
Our poor friend Kristoff (Elf on the Shelf) took a tumble from the classroom palm tree and spent the rest of the day in Urgent Care!

Picture Day!!!
In honor of picture day we read the story called "Picture Day Perfection" and created our own silly picture of ourselves in order to get the "sillies" out of our systems before our pictures were taken!

"Falling" in LOVE with Kindergarten
The month of September we made number bracelets to help us count and decompose numbers 1-10! The students loved making these and had a blast using the beads to show all of the different ways that they could make numbers 1-10. For example, 1 and 6 makes 7, 2 and 5 makes 7, and so on!
After measuring our pumpkins height with cubes, counting the number of lines our pumpkins had, testing to see if our pumpkin sank or floated in water, and cleaning the pumpkins seeds out of the pumpkins, we organized the seeds into ten frames to help us count the number of seeds by ten.
