"Dress Up As Your Favorite Book Character" Day

Thank you Robert Munsch for creating silly and sassy stories that make children LOVE reading.

100th Day of School

Yikes.

We used the aging booth app to see what we will look like when are 100 and wrote about what we think we will be doing at that age.

We also made necklaces with 100 fruit loops on them to help us count by ten! The kids were crazy about this activity!!! Success!

Polar Bear Research

We learned about polar bears and how they stay warm in the Arctic Ocean.

Students put their hand into a bag which was inside another bag filled with crisco (to resemble the fat in between two layers of skin on a polar bear).  This experiment was absolutely awesome, and really worked well!

These kids are so smart!!! I am so proud of their writing abilities!

Holiday Festivities

We celebrated winter break by having a Polar Express party in our Jammie's and drinking hot cocoa! Mr. and Mrs. Claus also paid us a surprise visit!
