Loving Bikini Bottom

We LOVE our Betta Fish!

SPIDERS!

We learned all about SPIDERS in Room 9!  I dare you, ask them anything about SPIDERS!!!!  Anyways, as a "FUN FRIDAY" crafitivity, we described spiders using eight of our own adjectives and then made our fun little spiders complete with "glittered" mouths (2nd graders are all about glitter this year.... or maybe that's just ME).

Room 9's Lovely Fish Aquarium

Bikini Bottom has found its way into Room 9!  The kids are loving it!  The bucket filler star of the week is the following week's fish feeder.... what a great incentive, right?!?   Also, the 2nd graders finished writing a prompt describing the day that Bikini Bottom came to Room 9.  They turned out amazing!  I have such great little writers this year!  (Especially when they are being bribed with a"Fun Friday" craftivity.... :)
